The Personal and Professional Alignment Quest consists of three critical modules: Phase 1 - Self-Authoring, Phase 2 - Becoming Extraordinary, and Phase 3 - Designing Organizational Systems for Enhancing Alignment and Authentic Engagement. We offer each phase as a module that can be delivered in person or via the internet. Groups may register for these modules as individual sessions, or register a “P.A.Q” cohort that will complete an entire module, or the entire “Personal and Professional Alignment Quest” curriculum in sequence. | Phase 3 - Designing Organizational Systems For Enhancing Authentic Engagement | |||||
Phase 3 focuses on how to create contexts that engage employees maximally from positions of strength. We draw upon the perspective that maximal engagement involves enabling employees of diverse perspectives and backgrounds to bring their best selves to work – leveraging their unique strengths and experiences to make valuable, authentic contributions to their organizations. Bringing one’s best self to work requires that the individual and the employing organization take responsibility. The individual must recognize that s/he is an agent of change, who has a personal responsibility (1) to see him/herself as a valuable contribution and (2) to create an environment where others experience him/her and themselves as such. Likewise, leaders must create an organizational culture that invites and appreciates the unique contributions that employees bring. |

Session 7: Maximally engaging strengths |
How do you take leadership in bringing out the best in others to enhance your collective work and world? How do you put into practice principles of positive organizing that foster full engagement, extraordinary performance outcomes, and collective fulfillment? This session addresses how a strengths-based model of development can expand opportunities for employees from diverse backgrounds to further enhance their skills and talents. We will discuss strategic planning, talent management, and performance evaluation processes that can excite and inspire employees to discover and utilize strengths in order to enhance the quality of their contributions. | ||||
| Session 8: Diversity at its best | This session focuses on how to unleash the unrealized potential that diverse perspectives and experiences bring to organizations, through taking on an appreciative perspective on difference and inclusion. The session will focus on evidence-based practices for learning about, learning across and learning from differences. |
